JAMMU, AUGUST 13: Joint Directorate of Information and Public Relations today held a sanitation and cleanliness drive in office premises.
The officers and officials of the Information department participated in the cleanliness drive and the entire office was cleaned.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Director Information (PR) Jammu, Gul Hussain Kraipak said that the cleanliness drive was launched to keep the office complex and its surroundings neat and clean amid the Corona pandemic. He underlined the need to give cleanliness first priority and consider it the responsibility of every individual. “We should ensure to maintain cleanliness not only in our houses but also in areas around us” he urged. He added that cleanliness helps us in fighting several diseases as well.
Cultural Officer Parul Khajuria, Shushank Padha (Editor) besides officials of the department were present.
