Visits Berevaed Family To Express Solidarity

SRINAGAR, May 3: As a gesture of empathy and solidarity, the Department of Agriculture led by Director Agriculture – Mohammad Iqbal Chaudhary, held a condolence meet to pay tributes to late Syed Masood ul Hassan Geelani, retired Chief Education Officer and former Trade Union leader on 3 May 2023.
Geelani was the first district president of J&K Low-paid Employees Federation of erstwhile district Baramulla (now-Kupwara, Bandipora, Baramulla). He played an important role in fighting for the rights of low-paid government employees for over thirty years between 70s-90s.
Director Agriculture visited the family of the departed soul as well and paid his sincerest condolences with the bereaved family members.
