Domicile order vague, cryptic and perplexing: Kadfeen

Date:

‘Its immediate rollback is only way to avoid further embarrassment’

Srinagar: Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary on Wednesday termed the order pertaining to the domicile rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir the cruelest of all jokes done to the people by the government.

Kadfeen in a statement issued here termed the order completely contrary to the situation on ground and said that it looks like a bunch of bureaucrats have drafted the document in haste and same has been thrown on peoples face with most sadistic and unrealistic approach.

Kadfeen maintained that the government’s seriousness in wining back the peoples confidence could be gauged by the fact that the order has been issued at a time when the entire country is on tenterhooks due to the prevalent COVID19 threat.

The government, said Kadfeen, instead of taking all requisite measures for the prevention of the virus has cracked a cruel joke with the people of Jammu and Kashmir that too on a day which is known in the world as the day of pseudo claims and farce promises. “I hope the government is not playing any April fool prank with the perturbed people of Jammu and Kashmir. The order issued by the GOI looks vague, cryptic and perplexing to the core. Roll back is the only remedy of such an action. Or else the chasm between the people and those at the helm will only deepen with each passing day,” Kadfeen said.
