Bandipora, Jan 22 ; Dreams Do Come True! This is what a social media sensation from north Kashmir’s Bandipora district has proven.
Once a social media sensation, 20-year-old Faisal Sheikh has already won the hearts of people across Kashmir and beyond with his acting skills, and now he is set to showcase his talent on the big screen.
A self-taught artist from Ashtangoo village of Bandipora district, Faisal has secured his first Bollywood project and is ready to shine on the large screen with his extraordinary skills.
Sources told Kashmir Despatch that Faisal Sheikh is set to make his Bollywood debut after being selected by the Mumbai-based production house Taha Film International.
Talking to Kashmir Despatch, Faisal Sheikh said, “Last November, I participated in auditions held in Bandipora by Taha Film International.”
He mentioned, “The production house has recognized me and is set to give me a chance in their upcoming movie.”
“I couldn’t believe it when I saw my name on the list. It felt like a dream come true. I have worked hard for this moment, and I am thankful to everyone who supported me,” Faisal said.
He added, “The shooting is set to begin soon, where I will prove my skills on a bigger platform.”
Faisal emphasized, “Nothing is impossible. When one truly works with passion and dedication, fruitful results will definitely come.”
He also expressed, “There is so much talent in Kashmir, perhaps more than anywhere else, but many young people here hesitate to prove themselves and often stay away from hard work. Until a person follows their passion, no one will come to them while they are sitting at home.”
Faisal said, “It took me years to achieve this moment, and it was full of challenges because people often discouraged me. However, I always listened to myself and never backed down; I continuously tried to prove my skills. Alhamdulillah, today I am so happy to see myself making progress. However, this is just the beginning, and Inshallah, I am hopeful to reach another level with hard work and dedication.”
After Abrogation of Article 370 Kashmir has been not only moving forward with development, peace, and prosperity over the past six years but also writing successful stories on national and international platforms.
The youth here are making their mark throughout the country, whether in business, sports, or any other field, and are shining day by day with their talent while achieving great heights and writing successful stories for future generations.
