GANDERBAL: To eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Ganderbal Police made yet another breakthrough in tackling Drug Peddlers.
Acting swiftly, SHO Police Station Ganderbal, Sub Inspector Shri Gulzar Hussain apprehended one drug Peddler at Syed Kadal. The accused was stopped at the Naka point by the Police Party Ganderbal and upon the search, 250 grams of contraband substance Charas was recovered from his possession, which was seized on the spot. The identification of the accused was ascertained as Showkat Ahmad Shah S/o Gh Ahmad Shah R/o Harran Ganderbal.
In this connection, Case FIR No.03/2022 U/S 8/20, NDPS Act stands registered in P/S Ganderbal and investigation taken up.
It is pertinent to mention here that Ganderbal Police has pledged to eradicate menace of drugs from the society and will continue to curb the Drug peddlers in future also.The responsible citizens of the locality are also requested to co-operate with the Police so that severe action shall be taken against the culprits.
