Ganderbal : Police in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 60 gms of charas like substance from his procession.
Police in a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch said continuing its efforts to eradicate the Drug menace from the society, Police Party led by DO Nagbal during naka checking intercepted a vehicle at Buserbugh, during checking 60 gms of Charas like substance was recovered from the possession of the accused which was seized on the spot.
The accused was identified as Irshad Ahmad Khan son of Samad khan of Asham Safapora. The accused has been also taken into the Police custody.
The Case has been registered at PS Ganderbal Vide FIR No.15/22 U/S 8/27 NDPS Act and further investigation has been taken up.
