Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Sopore Police have arrested one more drug peddler and recovered Heroine like substance substances from his possession.
A police party of Police Station Sopore headed by SHO Police Station Sopore under the supervision of SDPO Sopore at checkpoint established near ziyarat shareef Syed Sultan Arampora Sopore apprehended one drug peddler.
During search, 6.90 grams of Heroine like substance were recovered from his possession. He was identified as Nissar Ahmad Changa S/O Ghulam Nabi Changa R/O Arampora Sopore.
Accordingly, case FIR No.304/2023 under section 8/21 of NDPS Act has been registered at police Station Sopore & investigations has been initiated.“`
