RAMBAN, JANUARY 06: District Statistics and Evaluation Office, Ramban, under the aegis of the Regional Director, Evaluation & Statistics, Jammu, Sanjay Vashist, today released District Statistical Handbook, 2019-20, 2020-21 here at a simple book release function.
The book captures the feedback from the line Departments implementing various developmental schemes across district Ramban.
District Statistical & Evaluation Officer (DSEO), Ganesh Kumar Sharma formally released the District Statistical Handbook, 2019-20, 2020-21 in presence of Assistant Director (E&S) Ashfaq-ur-Rehman and other senior officers and officials.
District Statistics and Evaluation Office is the Nodal Agency for the collection, compilation, and dissemination of important statistical data of the district.
After releasing the publications, the DSEO hailed the efforts of field functionaries in the collection of data and stressed the improvement of these publications in the future with regular updates in policy-making coverage.
He said that this handbook will help in providing updated data to concerned departments which would assist in policy-making, planning, researchers, and also the government to focus on chalking out priority sectors. He also appreciated the line departments for providing requisite data on different indicators.
