Srinagar, May 10 : Deputy commissioner Srinagar Dr Shahid Iqbal Chowdhury on Sunday said that all Srinagar-bound medical students in Bangladesh will be home as authorities booked more 322 tickets.
He in a tweet said, Each one of you will be home Inshallah, please don’t worry or panic as 322 more tickets booked today. He in a tweet further said bulk purchase of tickets by us is to avoid individual inconvenience.
Pertinently, First flight with over 160 medical students from Bangladesh landed Srinagar on Friday.
Earleir this day, a special train with 985 Kashmiri students, studying in Karnataka, left Banglore to Udhampur in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir after being stranded for over 47 days in the southern state due to the extended lockdown.
