Srinagar, Nov 16 : The enforcement directorate on Saturday attached land measuring 12 kanals of two Hibz Mujahideen militants at Liver Pahalgam in District Anantnag.
Reliable sources told Kashmir Despatch that a team of (ED) enforcement directorate raided the two houses of Ghulam Nabi Khan alais Aamir Khan and Zaffar Hussain Bhat both residents of Liver Pahalgam who are presently residing in Pakistan administrated Kashmir.
Sources told Kashmir Despatch that the raids were conducted by a team of ED led by a Deputy Superintendent and was escorted by the local police.The team of ED was accompanied by officials from the concerned revenue department.
Sources said that the team served notices to the two families and fixed banners prohabiting sale of the attached property at the identified chunk of agricultural land that has been now converted into orchards.
A senior officer in ED while confirming it to the Kashmir Despatch revealed that the notices were served to the families of the two militants under sub section 4 of section 8 of prevention of money laundering Act 2002 and 15 of 2003.
