Education Minister Sakina Yatoo Promises Support for Contractual Lecturers

Ananthnag, Nov 12 : The Minister for education Sakina Itoo on Tuesday stated that contractual appointments are made based on specific norms that require individuals to serve as contractual lecturers. However, she acknowledged that after some time, these teachers may feel that they are being treated unfairly.

Talking to Kashmir Despatch, the minister emphasized that the department reviews potential measures to support these educators, as they play a vital role in educating children and delivering quality education.

She assured that if there are any viable solutions, the government will certainly take them into consideration.
