SRINAGAR, Jan 5: Ehsaas Foundation on Friday organised a spiritually elevating and intellectually enriching Mehfil-e-Malood-e-Kaaba (AS) at 21 Miles Cafe, Iqbal Park, to commemorate the auspicious Wiladat of Maula-e-Qayinaat, Ameer-ul-Momineen Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS) on Sunday, Jan 04, 2026. The solemn yet vibrant gathering drew enthusiastic participation from a cross-section of society, including eminent religious scholars, senior journalists, social activists, poets, and a large number of devotees, turning the venue into a centre of devotion, reflection, and reverence.
The programme was conducted with grace and poise by Musadiq Alam, who skillfully hosted the Mehfil and ensured a smooth, engaging, and spiritually immersive flow of proceedings throughout the event.
The Mehfil was graced by Bashir Dada, a well-known poet, dramatist, artist and a respected personality in the field of art, culture and languages
, as the Chief Guest, while Riyaz Masroor, senior journalist, and Molana Hameed-ul-Nayeemi attended as Guests of Honour, lending further dignity and intellectual depth to the occasion.
The programme commenced on a spiritually uplifting note with a soul-stirring Tilawat-e-Qur’an recited by Mohammad Hafiz Qur’an Shareef, which set a serene and devotional tone for the Mehfil. This was followed by a melodious Naat Shareef presented by Sahil Fayaz, drawing heartfelt appreciation from the audience. The spiritual fervour intensified as Manqabats in praise of Maula Ali (AS) were beautifully rendered by Mohammad Abbas, Mohsin Ali, and Ahmad Raza, whose recitations deeply moved the gathering and filled the atmosphere with devotion and love for Ameer-ul-Momineen (AS).
Addressing the audience, Chief Guest Bashir Dada shed light on the timeless teachings and exemplary life of Hazrat Ali (AS), describing him as a universal symbol of justice, courage, wisdom, and compassion. He emphasised that the principles upheld by Maula Ali (AS) continue to serve as a guiding light for humanity, especially in times marked by moral and social challenges. He also lauded Ehsaas Foundation for consistently organising such meaningful and spiritually significant programmes aimed at fostering moral values and social consciousness.
Guest of Honour Riyaz Masroor, in his address, highlighted the enduring relevance of Hazrat Ali’s (AS) teachings in the contemporary world. He stressed the importance of truthfulness, integrity, and unwavering resistance against injustice, stating that these values are urgently needed to build a just and humane society. Molana Hameed-ul-Nayeemi, meanwhile, elaborated on the lofty spiritual stature and unmatched wisdom of Maula Ali (AS), urging the youth to adopt his path of knowledge, patience, humility, and selfless service to mankind.
The Mehfil was further enriched by poetic tributes presented by renowned poets Syed Abbas Jowhar, Suhail Ahmad (popularly known as Raja Sahib), Syed Ali Masroor, and Syed Mehdi Riza. Through their eloquent verses, the poets beautifully highlighted the bravery, virtues, intellectual brilliance, and spiritual greatness of Maula-e-Qayinaat (AS), adding literary depth and emotional resonance to the gathering.
In his inspiring address, Vice Chairman of Ehsaas Foundation, Burhan Nazir, stated that Hazrat Ali (AS) is not only an icon of valour but also the embodiment of knowledge, humility, equality, and social justice. He reaffirmed that Ehsaas Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to promote humanity, unity, compassion, and moral awareness, drawing inspiration from the noble teachings of Ahl-e-Bait (AS).
On the occasion, the Vice Chairman extended heartfelt gratitude to Media Line Advertising Agency for their support as the printing partner, and acknowledged Lieu D’Amour, ARSH Coaching Institute, Blueberry Holidays, and Kashmir Bulletin for their cooperation as supporting partners. Special appreciation was also conveyed to 21 Miles Cafe for generously providing the venue and extending full cooperation to ensure the success of the programme.

The Mehfil concluded with collective prayers for peace, harmony, and prosperity, leaving the audience spiritually uplifted and inspired.
