Elderly woman among two die of drowning in Kupwara’s Kralpora

Kupwara, Jul 22 : A 55-year-old woman was among the two persons who died due to drowning in Karlapora area of Morth Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday afternoon.

Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that two individuals including the elderly woman and a youth, 26, were brought dead to Community Health Center (CHC) Kralpora this afternoon.

They identified the duo as Subi Begum wife of Mohammad Syed Awan of Rashanpora and Manzoor Ahmad Reshi son of Mohammad Yaqoob of Khanbal.

They said that the duo was crossing Kehmil Nallah over a wooden log, when they drowned and died.

Meanwhile, a health official at Kralpora CHC confirmed to KNO that the duo died due to drowning—(KNO)
