Srinagar 19 March : After the election commission of India announced the dates for the upcoming parliamentary elections in the state of Jammu and Kashmir the political parties have geared their activities and preparations for the elections.
The political landscape of the state is changing and the new political developments making the rounds in many new ways .Latest is the launching of the political party by the ex –bureaucrat Shah Faisal who earlier resigned from the administrative service and joined the politics to contest elections, with having his political party.
The vision document of the newly launched said party will pursue a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir problem as per the will and aspiration of the people of the Jammu and Kashmir and will attempt to bring about “sustainable peace” by making the people politically empowered , economically progressive, socially emancipated , ethically evolved, culturally unlighted and environmentally conscious.
With the shah faisal factor as an addition in the state politics the major portion of the youth from all corners of the state feel optimistic for the upcoming elections and future politics especially the unemployed youth.
Since the announcement of the election dates the political parties have pitched their voices for the conductance of the assembly elections along with the Lok Sabha elections and in unison believe that the local and the elected government is important for the peace and the stability of the state of Jammu and Kashmir
The regional political giants people’s democratic party(PDP) and national conference(NC) have started the blame game politics and are blaming each other for the political instability in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and have started the war on the social media site twitter and are opposing the each other tooth and nail.
Recently the national conference alleged the people’s democratic party of the “clandestine BJP-PDP bonhomie ” ahead of Lok Sabha election in the state and termed that the BJP-PDP are still in alliance and hand –in –glove to influence the polls by deceit and the deception,, besides highlighting the various flaws of the opposition party are terming it as opportunist party.
The comments and the actions which were missing during the power is now becoming the main weaponry for the political parties of the valley and they are now following the old philosophy of the politics “doing nothing and blaming everyone” and with time this tendency has accelerated manifold, more and more prominent political figures are choosing this cheap tactics to win over the people
The promises and slogans of the Bijli ,Sadak ,Paani has lost its mojo in the politics of the valley . The hottest manifesto of the majority of the political parties is to safeguard the special status of the state and using it is being used as a tool to attract and persuade the voters. (KNB)
