Deputy Labour Commissioner appeals to all establishments, shopkeepers to be cautious

SRINAGAR, May 25: A terminated employee of Labour Department Jammu and Kashmir has once again been caught impersonating as Labour Officer, seeking illegal gratification from the shopkeepers in Kashmir Division.
According to Deputy Labour Commissioner Kashmir, the terminated ofificial namely Shameem Bazaz, was caught on the CCTV camera impersonating as Labour Officer/Inspector of Labour Deptt. and demanding money from the establishment owners particularly shopkeepers for frivolous reasons.
The Deputy Labour Commissioner told Kashmir Despatch that the department has initiated criminal action against him. “In the meantime all the establishment owners of Kashmir Division are informed through this message not to become victims of him.
It is further informed to all the concerned that all the services of the Labour department are completely online and anybody demanding money for any service be informed to the ACB or CBI or Crime branch directly,” the
