Bandipora, May 15,: A delegation from Sumbal Sonawari Wednesday refuted the allegations of the father of rape accused that the matter is all about property dispute.
Abdul Rehman Mir, the father of rape accused had said that his son is innocent and he has been framed with an intent to grab the property.
The delegation led by social activist and renowned civil society member Sheikh Qawamuddin Shilwati told that though the property dispute is there but that is between the father of rape accused and the uncle of victim girl child.
“Whatever the father of the rape accused has claimed are all lies and far from truth. It is an attempt to divert the attention from the case. We seek justice for the victim girl. The statement of the father of the rape accused is a ploy to district people and delay the justice process,” Shilwati said.
Zahoor Ahmed Botoo, Ashiq Hussain Dar, Bashir Ahmed Dar, Fayaz Ahmed Sheikh and Muhammad Ibrahim were part of the delegation. (CNS)
