First Responders – Mother Helpage’s  Ambulance service under the Medline Project proved pivotal

Bandipora, September 15:- An ambulance service under the Medline Service was launched by Mother Helpage organization at Aloosa in North Kashmir’s Bandipora District in the year 2020. Since then the ambulance has catered a lot of rural and tribal areas like Zurimenz, Kanbathi, Kehnusa, Ashtangoo, Aloosa, Kema, Mangnipora, Binlipora, Halmatpora, Sheikhmuqam and other adjoining areas of Tehsil Aloosa, Bandipora and Ajas. The ambulance provides services to hundreds of needy patients of the district.


The mother helpage earlier dedicated this ambulance to the public for any medical emergency and like – wise situations.The ambulance service was inaugurated by Chairman Batra Hospital New Delhi (Patron Mother Helpage, India) Prof Dr. Upendra Kaul.

Abdul Hameed, while expressing great gratitude for the service to the organization said that we often use this service as it’s easy affordable and easily accessible with better service quality.

“The ambulance service remains available 24×7 stationed at Aloosa Branch near Elixir Garden School and is catering a huge area from village Zurimanz to Ajas and other adjacent areas of Bandipora district with great dedication of the team and management who manges it at ground levels”, Hameed added.

Another local beneficiary, Ab. Rehman Bhat said that since this area is backward when it comes to healthcare facilities therefore availability of this ambulance service facilitates in time medical care particularly when it comes to critical cases. He said we extend our great thanks and gratitude to Mother Helpage for such a wonderful service.

People in general have expressed their gratitude for such essential services and it’s management.


It is pertinent to mention here that J&K Students Welfare Mission, a native organization of the District is facilitating the initiatives at ground levels and the people in general and the patients facilitated in particular hails the efforts made by these duo organization for this service in the district especially during tough times. The patients hailed the efforts of the service especially during COVID19 periods when no one was coming forward to offer helping hands, the first responders – Mother Helpage proved a life saving miracle.
