Five youth sustain pellet injuries during clashes in south Kashmir’s Kulgam

Srinagar: Five youth have been injured after forces fired pellets at youth who were holding protests against the elections in south Kashmir’s Kulgam area.

Quoting sources  The Kashmiriyat reported that five youth  sustained pellet injuries during intense clashes that erupted in Kujjar area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

They said that two of them have been shifted to SMHS hospital while three are being treated in district hospital Anantnag.

Hospital sources confirmed the identity of the youth as Khalid Ahmad, He has sustained pellet injuries on his right eye.

Waseem Ahmad has suffered injury on his eye, Rasik has sustained pallet injuries on his whole body.

Shakir and Zahid who has sustained pellet injuries in their eyes have been referred to a Srinagar Hospital for advanced treatment

Intense clashes were going on in the locality when this report was filed.
