Sopore: Amid COVID-19 Scare, across the Kashmir valley, people were asked to follow the protocol as per the World Health Organization and Government of India.
Since the announcement of the protocol by GOI, concerned departments were ready to play its role especially the Police of Sopore Town were it’s best as they succeeded in making residents fully aware of the ill effects of COVID-19.
On Thursday, A resident of Sopore was diagnosed with COVID-19 after that, police issued strict directions to the general public, however, its impact was seen today when every corner of town wore a deserted look which is a clear indication how well police in town is playing its role and how well public is respecting and responding their orders.

Reports reaching said on Friday, streets and colonies were deserted as the residents of the town were inside their homes, and offered Friday prayers inside their nests, in cooperation with the police.
It is pertinent to mention here, Police of Sopore town was at its best since the protocol was announced. They tried to make sure, that Soporians should not suffer during this COVID19 lockdown.
Sopore police under the supervision and directions of SSP Sopore Javeed Iqbal, SDPO Raja Majid, SHO Azim Iqbal proved as they are among the best ones within the UT.
