Sopore, June 07: Government forces on Sunday evening launched a cordon-and-search operation (CASO) at Dangerpora village in Sopore area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search operation at Dangerpora Sopore this evening and conducted house to house search operation in the area.
An official said the operation was launched following the inputs about the movement of suspected militants.
It is pertinent to mention here on Saturday late evening unidentified gunmen shot dead a civilian at Bomai area in Sopore.
