Sopore, June 13 : The mixture of forces have installed lights in north Kashmir’s Sopore village and launched a cordon and search operation.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said the contingents of army’s 22 RR, 179 CRPF and Special Operation Group (SOG) of police cordoned off Lathisha area of Bomai Sopore late this evening and conducted house to house searches in the area.
A police official while confirming the cordon-and-search operation in the area to Kashmir Despatch said that some suspected militants are believed to be hiding inside the area.
