Sopore, June 18 : Government forces on Thursday evening launched a cordon and search operation in north Kashmir’s Sopore village.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a mixture of forces conducted searches in panzipora village of Sopore late this evening and sealed all entry and exit points in the area.
A police officer said following inputs about the presence of militants a joint team of Army’s
52 RR, Sopore Police and 177 BN CRPF launched search operation. He said searches are underway in the area.
