Forces launch search operation in Kanispora Baramulla

Baramulla, July 11 : Forces on early Thursday launched a cordon and search operation in Kanispora village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a joint team of Army’s 52 RR, SOG and CRPF sealed Kanispora village and conducted house to house search operation in the area.

A police officer also confirmed this cordon and search operation and said following suspecious movement searches were launched in the area. Officer said that no contact with militants has been established as of now.

However sources said two militants are believed to be trapped in the area.

Searches in the area was on when last reports came in.
