Sopore, March 18 : Government forces on Monday launched a cordon and search operation in North Kashmir’s Sopore village.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a joint team of forces including Army’s 22 RR, special operation group of police (SOG) and CRPF jointly launched searches in Tujjer village of Sopore.
Local reports said joint team of forces conducted house to house search operation in the area and sealed all entry and exit points which badly affected the public movement in the area.
A senior police officer while confirming the search operation to Kashmir Despatch said following inputs about presence of some suspicious movement searches in the area were launched.
Searches in the area was on when last reports came in.
