Srinagar, June 30 : Forces this evening launched a cordon and search operation in Sumbal area of Hajjin in north Kashmir’s Bandipora District.
Reports said a team of Army’s 05 RR, SOG and CRPF sealed Arampora colony of Sumbal and conducted house to house searches in the area.
A police officer said following inputs about presence of some militants search operation was launched.
It is pertinent to mention here that on 26 June militants fired upon a naka party in Sumbal area.
