Tral, February 16: Forces on Saturday launched a cordon and search operation in South Kashmir’s Tral village of Pulwama district.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that a joint team of forces including 42 RR, SOG and CRPF selaed Khandund area of Tral and conducted door to door search operation in the area.
Official told that on specific information about presence of militants in the area search operation has been launched.
Search operation in the area was on when last reports came in.
Pertinently 49 CRPF men were killed and 38 were injured as suicide attacker storms convoy at Lethpora area in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district along Srinagar-Jammu National Highway on Thursday.
