Forces launch search ops in Sopore’s Warpora

Baramulla, Jul 22 : The security forces on Thursday afternoon launched a massive cordon and search operation in Warpora village of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, SOG Sopore and CRPF 179, 177 and 92 Battalions were conducting house to house searches in Warpora and sealed all the entry and exit points in the area.

He said that the CASO was launched following specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

Search operation was going on in the area when the last reports came in—(KNO)
