Sopore : Government forces launched a cordon and search operation in Brath village of Sopore on Sunday morning.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, SOG Sopore and CRPF sealed Brath area and conducted house to house search operation in the area.
Searches in the area was on when last reports came in.
On Saturday Sopore police claimed to have arrested a local Lashker e Toiba militant identified as Danish Channa a Baramulla resident. As per police statement Danish joined militant ranks before month.
