Forces launch searches in Delina Baramulla

Government forces on Saturday launched a search operation in Delina area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

A police official said the operation was launched after a tip-off about the presence of militants in Delina Ghat area. He said the army’s 52 RR, Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Special Operations Group and CRPF are on the job.

The search operation was on when this report was filed.

Earlier this day a local militant Danish Channa of old town Baramulla was arrested by forces in Sopore town.
