Forest Fire Claims Life of 93-Year-Old Woman in Doda District, Second Incident in a Day

Doda, Feb 12 : A 93-year-old woman was burned to death in a forest fire accident in the Doda district of the Jammu region.

An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll, the fire broke out in the forest area of Village Thingna, Tehsil Bhaderwah, resulting in the unfortunate demise of Sheila Devi, a 93-year-old woman wife of the late Salk Ram of Thingna, Tehsil Bhaderwah.

A police officer also confirmed this news to news agency Kashmir Scroll, said that a case has been registered regarding the incident.

This is the second tragic incident of its kind reported in a single day. Earlier, three sisters had been burned to death in a fire accident in the Ramsoo area of Ramban.(KS)
