Former KCC&I President Sheikh Ashiq elected members of the Committee of Administration, Carpet Export Promotion Council.


Srinagar: In a landmark election, Sheikh Ashiq, Kuldeep Raj Wattal, Mehraj Jan, and Shaukat Khan, representing Jammu and Kashmir, emerged victorious in the highly esteemed election of the Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India
Javed Ahmad Tenga, alongside Ghulam Nabi Bhat alongside Fayaz Ahmad Wani , faced a setback in the CEPC COA election and got last in the J&K Category 2 Group voting.

This outcome underscores a significant shift in leadership within the carpet industry, promising new perspectives and initiatives under the guidance of Sheikh Ashiq, Kuldeep Raj Wattal, Mehraj Jan, and Shaukat Khan.
