“Take Charge Instead of Passing Blame that increase in militancy is act to down Omar govt,’ Majid Advises Farooq Abdullah”

Bandipora, Nov 08: Former MLA Bandipora Usman Majid on Friday in Bandipora said that the National conference is playing cards with BJP, saying their resolution is not clear of what they have promised with the people of Kashmir.
Speaking with the Kashmir Despatch, Majid said that the Congress playing a dirty role in the assembly says they did not take their stand clear whether they are in favor of resolution or not.
“Congress beffoles people in times of elections also, they continue to do so in assembly also by becoming mute spectators on resolution.”
He also said that their chief and president even did not make his stand clear when he was on Kashmir visit despite being an alliance partner which was the priority of the National conference from which they take U-turn after coming in power. “Congress playing double role in assembly, their played important role in scrapping article 370. Now they for showing themselves respected they became mute spectaters in assembly.”
“Bandipora MLA Nizam-uddin Bhat should need to speak first for the verification process. If he can enjoy special facilities from the government , why not a young boy whose verification is halted for having some links in his past,” he added.
Replying to a que about increasing targeting killings in valley Majid replied some people are enjoying the increase in militancy in Kashmir valley, added the government needs to take steps to control innocent killings in the valley.
“Kashmiri people are suffering since the abrogation of Article 370, governmeny should need to focus on resolving local issues now.”
“Omar did not have unified command on the home ministry and police. Farooq Abfullah instead of saying that the increase in militancy and targeting killings is an act to down Omar government, should tell the center to give control in his hands and they will control the situation.”
