SRINAGAR: ‘Free Kashmir’ graffiti turns up on the Army compound wall on Dickenson Road in Bengaluru.

According to a media report published in The Times of India, Ulsoor police registered a criminal case against unknown persons for allegedly scribbling Free Kashmir’ slogans on the Army compound wall on Dickenson Road on Sunday night.

It is said that the passersby have alerted the police ho later removed the graffiti. “We registered a case under the Karnataka Open Places (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act against unknown miscreants and efforts are on to trace them,” TOI quoted SD Sharanappa, deputy commissioner of police (east), saying.

The police, in order to arrest the culprits, is now verifying the CCTV footage.
