Gamblers held in Parimpora : Police

Srinagar : Police today claimed to have arrested gamblers in Parimpora area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.

In a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch police said, that gamblers who were arrested identified as Farooq Ahmad Sheikh of Barapather Batamaloo, Shameem Ahmad Dar son of Ab Hamaid of Dandoosa
Mudisar Ahmad Mir son of Ab Aziz Mir of Bandipora Meraj u din dar son of Ab Raheem Dar of Parimpora Waheed Ahmad son of Ab Gani of Tral , Tariq Ahmad son of Gh. Hassen Patten , Mehrja u din son of Gh Mohi u din of Dargah Gulzar Ahmad of Gh Mohammad of Bandipora.

The police statement further reads that around Rs 90100 were recovered from their procession.

A case has registered in this regard by concerned police station and further investigation has been set into motion.
