Pulwama: In continuation to the Gandhi Jayanti Celebrations (12th September, 2023 to 2nd October, 2023), Department of Computer Science, Government Degree College Tral, organized a special Digital Event on 14th of September 2023.
The even was carried out under the stewardship of the principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Mushtaq Ahmad Malik in which students of various semesters were involved in short video/reels making under the theme ‘Truth and Non-violence” and subsequently uploading them on social networking sites.
A good number of students from the Department participated in the event. Speaking on the occasion, Head Department of Computer Science Prof. Gazi Imtiyaz gave a detailed presentation on the life and works of Gandhiji.
He said that the two main principles of Gandhiji were peace and non-violence. He reiterated that Gandhiji had always been a follower of truth, honesty, and non-violence.
During the event the students showcased their hidden talent by making powerful videos on the ideologies of Mahatma Gandhi and their relevance in today’s age.
The program was conducted by Prof. Gazi Imtiyaz and vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad Dar.
