Garment Shop Gutted in Fire Mishap in Pattan Village

Pattan : A garment shop gutted in fire Mishap at Pakipora Nillah area of north Kashmir Baramulla district on Wednesday night.

Sources told Kashmir Despatch that the fire broke out in a shop belonged to Ali Mohammad Rather at around 10:00 Pm, resulting in clothes worth lakhs of rupees being gutted in the fire. 

Thick black smoke began to emanate from the shop and within seconds the entire shop was engulfed in fire. Efforts by the shop owner and the public to douse the fire proved futile.

Meanwhile, Fire and emergency services rushed to the spot managed to extinguish the fire and prevented it from spreading further. 

An official also confirmed this fire mishap to Kashmir Despatch, said no loss of life was reported in the mishap, he said the cause of fire was not known immediately.
