Media studies GDC Bla defeats KU by 36 runs

BARAMULLA, June 29: Media department Government Degree College (GDC) Baramulla in collaboration with physical education department GDC Baramulla organized a knockout tennis cricket tournament at GDC Baramulla. The tournament is the first of its kind in which teams from different media colleges take part.
Total six teams from different colleges of media from Kashmir valley took part in this tournament. The first match was played today between the Media department GDC Baramulla versus Kashmir University team.
The Kashmir University team won the toss and chose the ball first. While scoring 95/8 in 15 overs in first innings, media studies GDC Baramulla defeated Kashmir University by 36 runs.
While talking to Kashmir Despatch HOD Media studies Danish Nabi Gadda who was also part of the team said that the tournament was first of its kind tournament in which only media students of different colleges played with each other. The tournament started today at Showket Ali stadium Baramulla and the final match will be played on 4th July 2022.
