Srinagar, July 9 : A young girl allegedly attempted suicide in Apple Town of north Kashmir’s Varmul District on Thursday.
Kashmir Despatch learnt from reliable sources that a girl in her 20’s attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Seelu Sopur.
Timely action of family saved the young girl.
Police registered case investigation set into motion.
It is pertinent to mention here day by day suicide cases are on rise in Kashmir valley.
As reported by Kashmir Despatch Newspaper in the past month 12 persons lost their lives after they took an extreme step.
