Kathua, Aug 19: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) has demanded five marla plots at the safer places to the residents of International Border in Hiranagar.
“The Government should accept the demand of the people of International Border in Hiranagar in which ceasefire violation has posed threat to the lives of the people,” said JKAP, young leader, Yasir Choudhary.
Choudhary was concerned about the plight of the people who live under constant fear of being fired upon from across the border.
“The people were assured that the five marla plots will be given to each family of borders at safer places. However, the demand is yet to be fulfilled,” he reminded the Government.
He appealed to the civil administration of Kathua to redress the issues of the border residents in Hiranagar.
