Srinagar, Sep 21 : The government on Tuesday invited applications for the vacant post of the dispatch rider (Grade-III) amongst the eligible orderlies/jamadars belonging to the J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service.
In a notice issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) reads: “As per the recruitment rules of the J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service issued vide SRO-186 of 2009 dated 8th of July 2009, for which the method of recruitment for the post of dispatch rider (Grade-III) is 100 percent by promotion from orderlies/jamadars.”
The order further says that the jamadars should have at least three years’ service as such and possessing a valid LMV driving license and who qualify the driving test to be conducted through Director State Motor Garages.
“The applications in this regard shall be enclosed with a copy of the valid driving license issued by the competent authority”, notice reads.
