Govt orders establishment of winter secretariat in Srinagar from Nov 01, 2020

Srinagar, Oct 20 : Government of J&K on Wednesday ordered an establishment of winter secrtariat at Srinagar.
An order signed by Additional Secretary to the Government, Rohit Sharma, KAS reads, “Sanction is hereby accorded to establishment of winter secretariat at Srinagar with effect from 01.11.2020”.

“Consequent upon, the administrative secretaries shall remain available at the winter secretariat, Srinagar, as per the roster, at Annexure A to this order”, order reads.

It further reads, “the officers at Annexure B to this order are hereby posted in the winter secretariat Srinagar. They shall continue to draw their salaries from the respective departments wherefrom they have been posted in the winter secretariat”.

Further, the Estates Department shall make suitable arrangements in th Civil Secretariat including heating arrangements, telephones/internet etc for smooth functioning of the winter secretariat Srinagar, order reads.
