Srinagar, Nov 14: The Jammu & Kashmir transport department on Friday ordered a series of transfers and postings of ARTOs and I/C ARTOs across multiple districts, with all officers deemed relieved from their present positions immediately.
As per the order issued by the secretary to the govt transport department Muddasir Ahmed (Jr. KAS) has been transferred from Bandipora and posted in Baramulla.
Mukhtiar Ahmed Sofi, currently serving in Baramulla, has been moved to Bandipora. Wajahat Qayoom has been transferred from Ganderbal and posted as I/C ARTO, BOI Srinagar.
Former I/C ARTO BOI Srinagar, Sheikh Manzoor Ahmed, has been shifted to Ganderbal. Neeraj Sharma has been transferred from Reasi and posted in Samba. Nasir Ahmed (Jr. KAS), who was awaiting a posting, has now been assigned Reasi.
Mudassir Iqbal (Jr. KAS) has been moved from ARTO BOI Jammu to Udhampur and Jugal Kishore Sharma has been transferred from Udhampur and posted as ARTO BOI Jammu.
The government has directed that all transferred officers shall be deemed to have been relieved from their current postings with immediate effect.
