Govt sets-up high level committee for coordination of G-20 meetings in J&K

Srinagar, Jun 23 : The Jammu & Kashmir Government has set-up a high-level committee for overall coordination of G-20 meetings to be held in the Union Territory of J&K.

The General Administration Department (GAD) on Thursday set-up a committee headed by Principal Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department for overall coordination of G-20 meetings to be held in the Union Territory of J&K.

According to an order issued by J&K Government, a copy of which is in possession of news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), commissioner secretary, Transport department, administrative secretary. Hospitality & Protocol department, administrative secretary, Culture department are members of the panel.

The order further states that principal secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department has been nominated as UT level nodal officer to coordinate the arrangements for G-20 meetings in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir—(KNO)
