Grenade hurled at PDP leader’s residence

Pulwama, August 10:  Suspected militants carried out a grenade attack on the residence of a People’s Dramactric Party (PDP) leader in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama District on Monday evening.


Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that police has identified PDP leader as Bupinder Singh a resident of Tral Pulwama where the suspected militants carried out the attack.


Sources in the police said that the grenade hurled at Singh’s residence exploded outsidehis house and there was no injury or loss of property during the incident.


A police officer told Kashmir Despatch that whole area has been cornoded to nab the attackers.


This is the fourth attack on a political activist in the last five days in Kashmir valley.
