Mobile Internet services snapped

Srinagar, June 21 : A gunfight broke out in pozwalpora area of zoonimar in Srinagar district between militants and forces this morning.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that a joint team of army’, SOG and CRPF launched cordon and search operation in Pozwalpora area of Zoonimar in Srinagar after having credible input about presence of some militants in the area.
As the joint team of forces approached the suspected house the hiding militants fired upon searching party triggering an encounter.
As per reports two to three militants are believed to be trapped.
A police officer also confirmed to Kashmir Despatch and said contact has been established with hiding militants and firing from both sides is on.
Meanwhile Mobile Internet services have been suspended in Srinagar as Precaution measures.
Till this report was filed intermittent firing was going on.
