Gunfight rages in Tral

Tral, Sep 24 : A gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in South Kashmir’s Tral on Thursday morning.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said an encounter broke out at Bagander area of Tral this morning.
A police officer told Kashmir Despatch contact has been established with hidding militants and firing from both sides is on.
Earlier, a joint team of Army, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in the area following inputs about the presence of some militants.
