Jammu, Nov 19 : An early morning encounter broke out between security forces and militants travelling in a vehicle near Ban Toll Plaza of Nagrota in Jammu district.
Officials told news that militants believed to be three to four in number were travelling in a vehicle reportedly from Jammu to Srinagar but were intercepted at Nagrota sub division area of Jammu district after which they opened fire trigering an encounter.
“The encounter is in its initial state and more details like number of militants, their possible movement directions and nature of vehicles they were travelling are being traced, “the officials added.
They further informed that Anti Militancy Operation is going on in the area with traffic on Jammu Srinagar national highway being blocked and more forces as well as senior officers have rushed to the spot—(KNO)
