Baramulla, May 04 : India and Pakistan armies again trade fire in Uri sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said Indian and Pakistan armies on Monday morning again exchanged firing in Haji Pir sector of Baramullah’s Uri area.
An official also confirmed to this newspaper and said “Pakistani troops resorted to heavy shelling at wee hours of this morning which was retaliated by Indian troops and intermittent shelling is still on,” he added.
Last week two soldiers were killed, two were injured after Pakistan army Voilated ceasefire in Rampur sector of Uri.
While in the same day in another incident, A four-year-old child was among three civilians injured in Churnada village in cross border shelling.
The injured were identified as Tahira Begum, 20; Shanaz Akhter, 12; and four-year old Tawseef Ahmad.
Two residential houses were also damaged in the shelling.
