Gunshots heard during CASO in Rafiabad village

Srinagar: Gunshots during a cordon and search operation created panic in Shetloo village of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said soon after government forces cordoned off the Shetloo village few gunshots were heard creating panic in the area.

Earlier Army’s 30 RR and SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police cordoned off the area after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

A police officer also confirmed to Kashmir Despatch and said the operation is underway in the area.

The search operation was going on when the last reports came in.
