HKCC Dawar Crowned Champions in Thrilling Snow Cricket Finale

Gurez, Mar 01 : The 5th Edition of the Gurez Premier League, a traditional snow cricket championship, has concluded with a thrilling finale! Organized by the Dawar Battalion under the Snow Leopard Brigade.
The tournament took place at the Habba Khatoon Cricket Ground in Dawar, Gurez, from February 19 to March 1, 2025.
A total of 16 teams from Gurez and Tulail Valley participated in the championship, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship.
The final match was played between HKCC Dawar and MCC Markoot, with HKCC Dawar emerging victorious by 8 wickets and claiming the title of Champions of Gurez.
The event was attended by hundreds of enthusiastic spectators, including women, men, and children, who cheered on their teams and expressed gratitude to the Army for organizing the mega event.
The final match was also witnessed by distinguished guests, including the SDM Gurez, Judge Munsif Gurez, members of the Bar Association, and other civil administration officials.
